Akuira Young, freshman, represented TMHS at the state track meet May 12th. She was 2nd in district and won the regional track meet; congratulations on an outstanding year!

New Team, One Dream; performance by Silver Stars and Dance Program

Silver Stars Shine 2012, "New Team, One Dream," took you through this first year of the Silver Stars and Dance Program at Tomball Memorial High School.  The show showed you how the team name and uniform were created, it also took you through the traditions, sisterhood, and memories that were established throughout this inaugural year.  Featured performers included the TMHS Colorguard, participants from the Silver Stars Dance Clinic, and a few breakdancers that were not afraid to be in the spotlight.  Overall the show was entertaining, emotional, and definately one we will never forget.

Congratulations to the Regional Champion Number Sense Team

Congratulations to the Regional Champion Number Sense Team.  Members include Justice Nwaiwu, Maanasa Chittari, Carson Yang, and Daniel Cartwright.  All these students will be competing in the State Academic Meet on May 21-22 in Austin. 

Justice Nwaiwu--1st Number Sense, 1st Number Sense Team, 2nd Math

Maanasa Chittari--3rd Number Sense, 1st Number Sense Team

2012-13 Instructional Calendar

The Tomball ISD Board of Trustees approved the calendar for the 2012-2013 school year during their February meeting. The calendar has been posted to http://www.tomballisd.net/calendars.

Located near Northpointe Blvd. and the future extension of Northpointe Lane, Tomball ISD’s second high school – Tomball Memorial High School – will serve approximately 2,200 students in a two story 350,000 square foot building. The arched entry featured in the preliminary schematic design was inspired by the architecture of the former Cherry Street school, which was built in 1936.

All TMHS English classes have a summer reading assignment: Summer Reading Assignment- English 1301, Summer Reading Assignment- English I Pre-AP, Summer Reading Assignment- English II Pre-AP, Summer Reading Assignment- English III AP

Students can buy a yearbook for $75 (cash only) starting Thursday, May 10th at 7:15 in Mrs. Chumley’s room 1025. Yearbooks will be sold before and after school - not during the school day- until all books are gone.
