Welcome! My name is Esther Johnson, physics teacher. I graduated from the University of Houston with my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I earned my Master's in Education from Sul Ross State University. I am in my eighth year of education and I love what I do! There is nothing more satisfying than working with my students to learn and understand the concepts that explain how our world works. I am happily married, with two incredible children, a dog, and two cats. I cross fit and am currently training for a marathon.
If you had told me in high school that I would be teaching high school physics when I "grew up," I would have laughed you out of the building. I was going to be a singer, sharing my incredible talent with the world. Years have passed, and my dream has shifted. I remember my science teacher who made science come to life for me. he made conquering the difficult concepts feel fun and challenging.
I chose to become a teacher because I want to help my students see just how fun and amazing physics can be.
