Tomball ISD students took part in the district's annual Battle of the Books competition. At the secondary level, Creekside Park Junior took top honors with Creekside Forest Elementary winning at the elementary level.

Tomball ISD hosted its inaugural FIRST Robotics competition at the Tomball Agricultural Center on March 1-2 where THS and TMHS teams competed, earning state qualifying points.

Congratulations to Grand Lakes Junior High teacher Montana Hart on being awarded the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Texas State Chapter American History Teacher Honor. With this honor, she will not compete at the National level.

Tomball ISD has named Holly Searcy the next Principal of Northpointe Intermediate School. A veteran educator who brings over 30 years of experience will join Team Tomball, leading NIS after Spring Break as current Principal Dr. Caitlin Cain begins preparation to open West Intermediate this Fall.

Congratulations to Tomball ISD students from across the district for a strong showcase at the Regional Destination Imagination competition where seven TISD teams advanced to the State Tournament.
