Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps

MISSION

Our mission is to develop courageous, character driven young adults who possess the attributes of personal responsibility and accountability in order to become model citizens in service to the United States.
 

VISION

In close partnership with school administrators ensure that the Marine Corps JROTC Program remains a renowned educational and co-curricular resource in our high schools and the premier youth character and leadership development program in the Department of Defense.
 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  • Give students an appreciation for the origin, advantages, and responsibilities of citizenship.
  • Develop an understanding of leadership skills and the advantages of a strong moral character.
  • Develop in students a sense of pride and personal discipline.

A TEAM EFFORT: PARENTS-MARINE CORPS JROTC INSTRUCTORS AND EDUCATORS

The Marine Corps JROTC Program is a character and leadership program. Our instructors work as a team with the parents and guardians and the school counselors and administrators of our cadets to ensure they have the best possible opportunity for success in school, at home and in the community.
 

BOOSTER CLUB

We are currently looking for motivated parents that have the time and want to be involved in the Marine Corps JROTC program to help raise funds to support program initiatives and continued success of the students. Please contact the Senior Marine Instructor Major Iazzetta or Marine Instructor First Sergeant Carpenter for additional information. 
 

CADET CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Marine Corps JROTC has after school activities from 3:00PM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.  Throughout the year we will have an opportunity to compete against other schools in various different types of competitions. 
 
Co-Curricular activities are not mandatory but highly encouraged to continue to develop a Sense of accomplishment, Responsibility, Discipline, Leadership, and Esprit de Corps.
