Morning Announcements for February 20th 2018!

Attention Juniors: College Knowledge Night is this Thursday here at TMHS from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. We will have several college representatives presenting information about various topics like the admissions process, financial aid and about specific majors and programs. You will receive an email soon with a list of all of the available breakout sessions. Hope to see you there!
Attention college-bound students: a representative from Lamar University will be here for a Lunch ‘n Learn on Feb. 27th. Lamar is a comprehensive university with great programs including nursing and engineering. Sign up on Naviance!

Calling all Wildcat writers! The TMHS Writers' Club will be meeting this Wednesday at 3PM in Mrs. Smith's room, 1311. Come listen as they share one-line interpretations in any genre.

Your TMHS Silver Stars tryouts will be March 5-8. If you are interested in trying out, you can pick your packets up from Mrs. Nail in the Dance Room or print your own tryout packet from our website at tmhssilverstars.net. All packets will need to be filled out and returned to the Silver Stars Drill Team Director, Mrs. Nail in the Dance Room by 3:00pm on Monday, March 5!

ATTENTION ALL TMHS TALENT SHOW PARTICIAPNTS, PLEASE STOP BY THE THEATRE HALL AND READ THE INFORMATION POSTED ON THE CALL BOARD. ALSO VISIT WITH MR. BALLEW PERSONALLY TO DISCUSS REHEARSAL. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND MUST BE DONE TODAY OR TOMORROW.

ALSO ALL TMHS STUDENTS AND FACULTY, TICKETS FOR THIS YEARS TALENT SHOW GO ON SALE AT ALL LUNCHES TOMORROW AND ARE $10. REMEMBER THE TALENT SHOW IS THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!

Seniors- don’t forget to order you vinyl paw decal to be proudly displayed in the main hallway. You can pick up an order form at the main office and in Mrs. Briton’s office.

Powder Puff t-shirts will be on sale during lunches this week. Your shirt is your ticket to the powder puff game which is scheduled for next Wednesday, February 28. Hope to see all come out.
TMHS will host the Wildcat Relays this Thursday for JV and Freshmen and Varsity will compete on Friday. Come out and cheer on our Wildcat track athletes. This past week we had several Wildcats break school records. We are so proud of all of their accomplishments. Watch video announcements this coming Friday to see who is breaking school records.

Your Silver Stars competed in their second contest of the season this past Saturday at Clear Lake High School. Out of over 160 dance routine entries, our Team Jazz received the 3rd highest score of the entire contest! For Overall Extra Large Team, The Silver Stars received first runner up and our dance officers received first place in officer novelty and first runner up for their officer jazz. The Silver Stars also received the Academic Award of Excellence and were rewarded with multiple choreography, technique, precision and performance quality awards. Congratulations to our solo finalists. Awesome job ladies and we wish you the best of luck at Atascocita High School this weekend!

Hey wildcats!! it’s beYOU week. beYOU week celebrates love, kindness, positivity individuality and diversity in our school. Today’s theme is radiate. Always use your individuality as a superpower. If you find your heart make sure to come to the student council table at your lunch! Freshman are yellow, sophomores are green, juniors are blue, seniors are pink, and all staff are orange!! Remember to always be YOU!

GREAT JOB to all of the amazing students who participated in the Visual Art Scholastic Event this past Saturday at Klein Collins High School. Five artworks were selected to advance to the STATE event in April – Congratulations! We will recognize these individuals on an upcoming video announcements.

Bond 2017 Approved

Tomball ISD voters approved a $275 million bond referendum, known as Bond 2017, on Tuesday, November 7. The unofficial vote was 2,658 for the bond and 927 against. The votes will become official when the vote tally is canvassed. We appreciate your support of our students and Bond 2017.
