Dear Parents and Students of AP Students,

Taking the Advanced Placement (AP) exams is an important part of all AP courses. Tomball Memorial High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.

For the 2021 AP exams, students at Tomball Memorial High School will be registering for the AP exam during class me through the College Board’s “My AP” website. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any electronic device with internet access. This process should have been completed in their AP course with guidance from their AP teacher. If it has not been completed, please contact your child’s AP teacher for instructions. This year each regular AP exam will cost $95. Tomball Memorial High School desires that every student be able to take their AP exams. Families who have applied for and have been approved for free or reduced lunch will be charged only $40 per exam. If you would like to see if you qualify for free or reduced lunch, please visit www.schoolcafe.com. Students requiring financial assistance should contact Jade Lopez, Jadelopez@tomballisd.net at Tomball Memorial High School to learn more.

Online exam payment will begin on Monday, November 2nd and ends on Monday, March 8th at midnight. In order to submit payment for AP exams, students should visit https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/447044 to pay for the AP exams they registered for via College Board’s website. To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Students are encouraged to use the same email as their College Board account. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end of the online payment process. We know that parents may desire to pay for their student’s exams, but we strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered. If you have more than one child taking AP exams, you must create a Total Registration account for each child.

Tomball Memorial High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made and received.
