About Mrs. Sibert
I have taught at Tomball Memorial High School since its inaugural year in 2011. I have a BA in Family & Consumer Sciences, a minor in Secondary Education, and a minor in General Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education in Teacher Leadership at Lamar University. I absolutely love teaching and facilitating Student Council and FCCLA. When I am not a school, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching tv and movies, and hanging out with my husband and three pups.

I have the honor of teaching the four courses at Tomball Memorial that aim to prepare students for various careers in education (the profession that teaches all of the other professions). Please read more about the Education & Training Career Pathway. I also help coach within the FCCLA organization, a national career and technical student organization for students in Family & Consumer Sciences. FCCLA's mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of a family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.

I am also the Student Council advisor at Tomball Memorial. Student Council is a student-led organization that acts upon the suggestions of the faculty, student body and community to serve others. Student Council's motto is "H2O: Humility, Harmony & Openness." Please visit the Student Council page for more information on this wonderful organization.

My mission is to instill in my students the desire to be lifelong learners and how to manage the challenges of career, family, community and daily life. My hope is to foster in each of my students the belief that they have the capability to succeed. I want to guide my students in obtaining the skills they need to enjoy a wholesome and productive life in an environment that is modern, inspiring, and fun!
