Welcome Students and Parents/Family! I am very excited about all of the opportunities and experiences for our students in engineering this year at TMHS.
This is my 16th year teaching high school, and I have been here at TMHS since school opening. I live in our attendance zone so I have great pride for our school and community. (We are kind of the best!!!!) I have a B.S. in Meteorology from Texas A&M University, class of '03. I have a huge passion for science and engineering and enjoy spending my life sharing that passion with my students and my 2 kids. I have been married for 13 years and I enjoy running, severe weather, and all things nerdy.
We have some new and exciting things in store for the students entering the TMHS engineering strand this year. We have partnered with some professionals in our area who are helping launch some new and exciting opportunities. If you are interested in helping our program or know of resources you think we may be interested in, feel free to contact me!
Our engineering program has a 3D printer, 3D scanner, and more to help bring student designs to life! Very awesome! We also have an active SWE (Society of Women in Engineering) Next high school chapter called SWEET and hope to enrich the opportunities of our Wildcat Engineers through that program.
I look forward to an awesome year! Go Wildcats!
