I am the Special Education Department Chair and Adaptive Behavior Teacher at Tomball Memorial High School. I am a Club Sponsor for Best Buddies, United Sound, and the National Honor Society. This is my 5th year at TMHS and my 8th year in education. I believe that all students are capable of achieving beyond their expectations when given the right motivation, and I will do everything I can help our students grow and reach beyond their potential. My goal as an educator is to help students identify their strengths that will build their self-esteem, so that they can see what they are capable of achieving. Students face many challenges and rely on the adults in their lives to inspire, encourage, and teach them along the way. In working with students I want to help them develop coping skills and the ability to make decisions for themselves. I want to push them to see that there is a big life waiting after high school that we want them to be prepared for, and it is important for them to learn how to advocate for themselves. I have a passion for education, inclusion, and making sure we create an environment at TMHS where all students feel supported, safe, and welcome!
