Dr. Jeffrey Bailey, Principal
 
Dr. Bailey most recently served as the Executive Director for Teaching and Learning in Klein ISD since 2017. He will bring this current experience leading and supporting principals to success to this new role as TMHS Principal.
Prior to that role, he led several KISD campuses, including Klein Forest High School and Ulrich Intermediate as Principal. Named the 2016 Klein ISD Secondary Principal of the Year, Dr. Bailey also led Ulrich Intermediate to a PLC Model Campus designation during his time there.
His campus leadership experience continues, having served as an Associate Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Klein Collins High School, and as Assistant Principal at both Klein Oak High School and Doerre Intermediate. 
Dr. Bailey has also spent time as a classroom teacher, beginning his education career back in 1999 as an algebra teacher and coach. He devoted over 10 years as a teacher before pursuing a campus leadership position. 
He is a 2018 Holdsworth Center District Leadership Program graduate and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, his Master’s Degree from Prairie View A&M University and his Doctorate from Texas A&M University, where he was named the Paul R. Hensarling Distinguished Student.
Dr. Bailey is a resident of Tomball ISD and has two children currently attending Northpointe Intermediate and Tomball Memorial High School.
 
Jill Hayes, Associate Principal 
 
Jill Hayes joins the leadership team at Tomball Memorial High School as an Associate Principal.  Jill has worked in education for 26 years.  She began her education career as a teacher and coach in Louisiana and moved to Texas to join Tomball ISD as a teacher and coach at Tomball Junior High School.  During her tenure with Tomball, she also served as an Assistant Principal at Tomball High School and Tomball Junior High School.  Jill earned a Bachelor's of Science in education at McNeese State University and a Master of Education in Administration at Sam Houston State University.
 
Charlie Gerszewski, Associate Principal
 
Mr. Gerszewski joins the staff of Tomball Memorial High School after spending the 20-21 school year as an Assistant Principal at Creekside Park JH in Tomball ISD.  Previously he spent time working as a teacher, coach, and Alternative School Director in Woodland Park, Colorado.  Prior to working in Colorado, Mr. Gerszewski spent time in Houston as a small business owner, Houston Firefighter, and as a teacher, coach and Assistant Principal in Aldine ISD.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Mayville State University and his Master's Degree in Education Administration from Sam Houston State University.  “Mr. G” is excited to be a part of Tomball Memorial HS and looks forward to working with students, parents, and the community.  Go Wildcats! ​
 
Jade Lopez, Assistant Principal

Jade has been in Tomball ISD since 2019, most recently serving as a 504/Testing Campus Coordinator at TMHS. Having served in education since 2006, she brings a diverse background to this campus leadership role. Prior to joining TISD as a testing coordinator, Jade spent her early years (2004-19) in Galena Park in Spring ISD, handling a variety of responsibilities. While in Spring, Jade spent time in the Information Technology department as a PEIMS analyst and at Rickey C. Bailey Middle School as its campus professional registrar, a classroom teacher, coach and testing coordinator. Jade earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Leisure Studies from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2004 and her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University in 2009.
 
Grant Granquist, Assistant Principal

Mr. Granquist is entering his 12th year working for Tomball ISD. Mr. Granquist is joining us from Tomball Junior High School, where he has been serving as an assistant principal for the last four years. He started in education as a Specialized Support Teacher at Tomball Junior High School working primarily in the math department. He has also worked as a PASS and Adaptive Behavior Teacher at Tomball Junior High. He received his Bachelor's of Science Degree from Sam Houston State University with a minor in Special Education. He also holds a Masters from the University of St. Thomas in Educational Leadership. He is currently working on his doctorate at Baylor University. Mr. Granquist has three kids who have grown up in Tomball ISD Schools. His oldest just graduated from TMHS and will be attending LSU in the fall. 
 
 
Laykin Luker, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Luker received her Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Houston, where she was also a member of the swim team, and her Masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Prior to coming to Tomball, she worked in Klein ISD. She began her career in education at Klein Collins HS as a math teacher and assistant swim coach, and then was a member of the inaugural staff at Klein Cain HS in 2017 as the head swim coach and math teacher. Mrs. Luker is looking forward to being a member of the team at Tomball Memorial and the Tomball ISD community!  Mrs. Luker and her husband have two kids, Lynlie and Gage. 
 
 
Meredith Henry, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Henry graduated from Texas A&M University in 1993 and began her teaching career in Katy ISD.  She received her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Houston in 2000.  Since 2000, she has served as an Assistant Principal in Katy ISD, Elementary Principal in Tomball ISD, Assistant Principal at Northpointe Intermediate School (2014-2015) and is now serving as an Assistant Principal at Tomball Memorial High School. In 2013, Mrs. Henry graduated from the Rice Education Entrepreneurship Program (REEP) at Rice University.  She is the proud mom of two boys, Tyler and Austin.
